Erie Historical Society Update 2/15/2009

–The Wiese Homestead Museum will re-open Saturday, May 2 , 10 to 2.  We have had several visits this winter by appointment.
–The roof is on the old peg  barn.  It is ready for small meetings and planned educational programs.
–Public lectures are planned in cooperation with the Erie Community Library begining March 19th.  More information here on the lectures
—Plans are begining fore a BIG Biscuit Day, Sept. 19th, Saturday, from 8 am to 12 noon.

-Volunteers are needed in several projects.  A major one is someone interested in planning and presenting the educational programs.   If you would like to help out contact Sarah Wise
